Classic Wood
Your inspired glass design lovingly carved in our native Pacific Northwest hardwood maple. Blockhead uses precision CAD design software to digitally render your design. You tell us when the proof looks just right, then we send it off to the CNC router which carves slabs of Bigleaf Maple with unrivaled precision. Greater in Graphite
Graphite molds last a really really really long time. Like, for thousands of pieces. In comparison, a wood mold lasts on average for 300 pieces. Graphite molds do not require turning on steam to shape the glass, so you do not need a design that is concentric. Graphite will also take tiny details: lettering, logos, embossed pictures. Take advantage of the chill chill marks of bare graphite (left) or choose a cork finish (download corking instructions here) for a smooth finish on the glass.
